6th Unity Cup: Whiskers CC, Shine CC enter quarterfinals

Dimapur, Jan. 26 (EMN): Whiskers CC won against Diphupar CC by 120 runs to qualify for the quarterfinals of the 6th Unity Cup.

Whiskers CC batted first and scored 205 runs in 20 overs. Vivek of Whiskers CC was the highest scorer with 74 runs.

Chasing the target, Diphupar CC fell short of 120 runs and were all out  in 15 overs.  Vivek  was adjudged man of the match for his 74 runs and two wicket haul.

In the  second match, Shine CC won the match by  18 runs against Jackal's United CC. Shine CC batted first and scored 140 runs in 20 overs. Sopan of Shine CC was the highest scorer scoring 18 runs.

Jackal's United CC could score only 122 runs in 20 overs.  Rajan was adjudged man of the match for his four runs and three wicket haul.
