69 artists nominated for 11th MAN 2019

The growing popularity of the Music Awards of Nagaland (MAN) can be gauged by the ever increasing number of entries received for nomination year after year. After screening, 69 entries have been nominated in various genres for the 11th edition of MAN. An update issued on Sep. 28 informed that the 11th MAN is powered by Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA) and is being organised by the Native Trax Society (NTS) with the active support of Theja Meru, Advisor, TaFMA and Dr. Hovithal Sothu, Project Director, TaFMA. Awards will be presented to the best song in each category decided by the judging panel. Awards will also be given away in technical categories such as Best Music Video, Best Video Director, Best Sound Engineer, Best Producer and Best Lyricist. The award for Song of the Year will go to the nomination which secures the highest points based on ‘Likes’ and ‘Shares’ on the MAN Facebook page and number of views on the MAN YouTube channel, the update informed.
