Dimapur, April 28 (EMN): Ten more suspected Covid-19 samples were sent for testing from Nagaland on Tuesday, according to an official update.
Home Commissioner Abhijit Sinha informed that a total of 639 samples have been sent so far; out of which 620 have tested negative. The remaining 19 await result.
According to Sinha, all the district hospitals in the state have been advised to continue delivery of selected services such as OPD and other day care services till such time coronavirus-related patients are admitted in the hospital; provided that, adequate barriers are installed to prevent intermingling of patients and avoid overcrowding.
“In connection to the Nagaland Medical Council partnering with the department of Health and Family Welfare for providing OPD service in the districts, the health care services have also been started in Wokha district at town sub centre and in Mokokchung at Kumlong sub centre, Impur Clinic and Impur Christian Hospital besides Kohima and Dimapur.
“The OPD service will be available from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 1 pm. Depending on the availability of volunteers, similar arrangements will be expanded to other locations and districts.
