62nd SASA sports meet-cum-3rd Dzükou Cup concludes

KIGWEMA — The 62nd Southern Angami Sports Association (SASA) sports meet-cum-3rd edition of the Dzükou Cup concluded on Saturday at the Kimipfüphe ground in Kigwema, with Kidima Youth Organisation winning the women’s volleyball category and Kezo Town finishing second.

Following the final match, Medokhole Puro of Kezo Town was named the best spiker and Nokethonu Kintso of Kidima Youth Organisation the best setter.

Kigwema Youth Organisation won the men’s volleyball championship, with Phesama Youth Organisation taking second place.

Khevozoto Mera of Kigwema Youth Organisation was named the best spiker, while Kevizakie Kevin Phira, also of Kigwema Youth Organisation, was recognised as the best setter.

Kidima Youth Organisation won the men’s football category, with Jakhama Youth Organisation coming in second.

Vikehekho Seleyi of Phesama Youth Organisation was adjudged as the best goalkeeper, Avito Khieya of Jakhama Youth Organisation as the best defender, Puzoto Vitsu of Viswema Youth Organisation as the highest goal scorer, and Dupisa Pucho of Kidima Youth Organisation as the player of the tournament.

MLA Kevipodi Sophie, Maj. H I Singh Sao, and Dr. Neiketou Kiso were among those who attended the event.
