60th Sasa meet: Phesama YO leads medal tally

Kohima, Feb. 2 (EMN): Athletic events of the ongoing 60th Southern Angami Sports Association (Sasa) annual meet culminated on Wednesday at Jakhama local ground and Kimipfüphe ground Kigwema.

At the end of the day’s event, Phesama Youth Organisation is leading the medal tally with 27 medals consisting of 10 gold, 12 silver and five bronze. 

 Kigwema Youth Organisation continues to remain in the second position, garnering nine gold, seven silver and four bronze while Kidima Youth Organisation, which was leading the tally earlier, jumped down to third spot with eight gold, four silver and three bronze on Wednesday. 

Viswema Youth Organisation (seven gold, five silver and seven bronze) and Mima Youth Organisation (two gold, two silver and three bronze) are in the fourth and fifth positions respectively. 

Jakhama Youth Organisation jumped to the sixth place with one gold, four silver and five bronze while Khuzama Youth Organisation remains at the bottom with one gold, three silver and one bronze.

On Thursday (day-five), football (men), volleyball and sepaktakraw for both men and women will commence from 9:30 am at Jakhama local ground.
