Natha New Students’ Union holds 54th annual session on the theme ‘Bringing the future to life at its zenith.’

DIMAPUR — The 54th annual session of the Natha New Students’ Union (NNSU) was held from December 28 to the 30th, 2025, on the theme ‘Bringing the future to life at its zenith.’
The programme was attended by agripreneur V Tito Zhimomi as the chief guest; Toino S Rotokha, executive officer at NKVIB, as guest of honour; and L Holuto Ayemi, area education officer, as theme speaker.
Addressing the gathering on December 29, the chief guest emphasised the importance of the Word of God, stating that “where there is God’s Word, there is life.”
Tito Zhimomi spoke on divine life and highlighted that Jesus Christ came with a purpose, citing scriptures from the books of John and Romans. He explained that death separates people both physically and spiritually, and that God created human beings to have fellowship with Him.

He noted that although there are many religions in the world, Jesus Christ is referred to as the “Last Adam.” He stressed that life’s journey cannot be run alone and encouraged students to rely on God and receive His holiness while they are alive.
Zhimomi further reminded the students that God has a greater plan for everyone and urged them to draw strength and encouragement from the Scriptures.
He added that eternal life comes through confessing Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, and encouraged the students to love, hear, and obey the Word of God, assuring that obedience to God’s Word brings transformation. He concluded by stating that nothing is impossible with the Word of God.
Viki K Zhimo, president of the Zunheboto Range Students’ Union, also delivered an exhortation.
The annual session featured various cultural performances, cultural competitions, and literary events, including debate, essay writing, painting, Bible recitation, and poetry recitation competitions.
The session also witnessed the induction of the new office bearers for the 2026–2027 tenure, with Avikali Z. Zhimo sworn in as the president and Zhimokali K Rotokha as general secretary.
