5,202 houses completed under PMAY-G in Nagaland

Dimapur, Sep. 15 (EMN): A total of 5,202 houses have been completed in Nagaland out of 22,351 houses sanctioned under the Pradha Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) with a total amount of INR 91.678 crore, as on September 14, 2022.

PMAY-G is a social welfare flagship programme launched by government of India in March 1, 2017, to provide housing for the rural poor in India. It has so far registered a total of 28,286 beneficiaries out of which 26,834 has been geotagged and 22,351 sanctioned.

As per the data made available in the Chief Minister’s dashboard, Tuensang district has the highest number of houses completed with a total of 1,652 houses at a cost of INR 25.458 crore and Phek district has the least number of houses completed with a total of 70 houses at a cost of 2.2582 crore.

Meanwhile data shows that Mon district has the highest number of beneficiaries registered with a total of 8,802, out of which 7,968 houses are geotagged, 6,459 houses sanctioned and 1,260 houses completed at a cost of 21.2582 crore.
