Dimapur, Feb. 9: (EMN): Power consumers in the Dimapur electrical division will experience a 5-hour shutdown of power supply from 7 am till 12 noon on Feb. 10.
This was informed through a press release from the establishment of the executive engineer of the electrical division on Fri. The 5-hour shutdown has been necessitated “due to tree trimming and jungle cutting, which will be carried out by the department staff in and around its jurisdiction,” it informed.
Colony authorities have also been requested to trim trees growing near electrical lines in their respective locality while keeping in mind the duration of the shutdown to avoid accidents.
