Dimapur, March 23 (EMN): The 4th All Nagaland Open Chess Championship is scheduled to begin March 24 at 9 am at Tourist Lodge in Dimapur.
The two-day championship is being organised by Sumi Chess Association Nagaland, an update on Tuesday informed.
Dr. Inaje Phuleshe will be the special guest for the inaugural programme.
All the school and college students participating in the championship have been directed to wear their respective uniforms on the first and last day of the tournament. All the players have also been requested to reach the venue before 8:30 am. “It is mandatory for all the players, and guardians to wear mask during the tournament. All the necessary Covid-19 guidelines, SOPs prescribed by the government will be strictly adhered,” it added.
