Dimapur, March 26 (EMN): The Sumi Chess Association Nagaland (Scan) organised 4th All Nagaland Open Chess Championship 2021 under the aegis of Nagaland Chess Association (NCA) was held at Tourist Lodge Dimapur on Friday.
The closing programme was chaired by Bovito Yeptho and the invocation was lead by Shikiye Jakhalu, informed an update from the organisers.
The arbiter of the tournament declared the winners and gave away the prizes to the champions in various categories.
List of winners: Champion - Mughaho Awomi; Best Sumi Player - Bovito Yeptho; Best Above 60 Years - S I Toshi; and Best Female - Shabnam singh.
The Sumi Chess Association also elected new team of office bearers for the tenure 2021-24 with Shiniho Inakhe as president and Mughato Kibami as General Secretary.
