Four students from Kohima village receive Sachü scholarship 2026 organised by the Kohima Village Students’ Union

KOHIMA — The Sachü scholarship programme awarded four more students during the Sachü Scholarship programme 2026, organised by the Kohima Village Students’ Union (KVSU) under the aegis of the Miraculum Society, Nagaland, on Saturday at the Kohima Village Council hall.
Vikuonuo Sachü, founder of Miraculum Society, shared that the scholarship programme began in 2024 to honour the legacy of her grandparents, Lt. Tuoso Sachü and Lt. Neithonuo Sachü, with a vision to support students from Kohima village with diverse backgrounds in pursuing quality education.
Their goal is to foster a spirit of competition, determination and enthusiasm among young students, empowering them to pursue their dreams through education.
Over the past two years, she shared that they have had the privilege of supporting eight students and look forward to continuing this journey, empowering another four bright minds, one from each of the four khels under Kohima village.
She hoped that the programme will be an inspiration to the community of Kohima village.
Khrieneinuo Pienyü, president of Kohima Village Women Society, in her short speech appreciated the work of Miraculum Society and their initiatives to strengthen the value of education.
She also appealed to all the students to study hard and become change-makers of society.
