4 Dimapur police personnel, 2 railway staffers test Covid-19 positive

Dimapur, July 22 (EMN): Four Dimapur police personnel and two staffers of the Dimapur railway station have tested positive for the Covid-19.

The public relations officer of Dimapur police, Relo T Aye informed that four police personnel from West Police Station in PWD Colony of Dimapur tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday.

Aye informed that entry to the police station has been partially restricted and contact tracing has been initiated.

The officer in charge of Women's police station also informed that entry to the women's station has been restricted till further notice as the station adjoins the West Police Station.

Further, an official at the railway station in Dimapur informed Eastern Mirror that two railway cargo staff members have tested positive for Covid-19.

The official said the two staff members had complained of fever and were admitted to Circuit House for isolation during which Covid-19 tests were conducted.

"I heard that tests results returned positive today (Wednesday) for the two and contact tracing is being conducted," the railway official said.
