DIMAPUR — The third day of the ongoing Nagaland Police (NP) recruitment rally was held in different district headquarters, including Zunheboto, Kiphire and Noklak.
Zunheboto: The recruitment rally on Friday held at Police Reserve Ground, witnessed the screening of candidates bearing chest numbers 1608 to 2645.
“However, officials clarified that the range of chest numbers screened on the third day does not directly reflect the exact number of candidates examined, as the chest numbering system also includes female candidates,” a DIPR report stated. The recruitment process for female candidates is scheduled separately on January 10.

The clarification was issued to avoid confusion regarding attendance and screening figures, as chest numbers are allotted collectively for administrative convenience rather than day-wise participation.
“The multi-day recruitment rally continues as per schedule, with authorities ensuring a systematic and transparent selection process,” it stated.
Noklak: The third day of the Nagaland Police recruitment rally was conducted at Parade ground, Noklak. Candidates who qualify in the medical standard and physical test will be shortlisted for written examination based on the ratio fixed by the Department Recruitment Board. The written examination will be held on January 20 at Christian High School, Noklak.
