Kohima, May 25 (EMN): As many as 3982 stranded citizens have reached Nagaland till date, according to an update received from the control room of the Empowered Committee in Dimapur.
As of 6 pm on Tuesday, a total of 44 returnees had arrived in Nagaland.
When contacted, sources from the control room informed Eastern Mirror that a train from New Delhi ferried 40 passengers to Dimapur railway station.
A private car also transported four persons to the commercial hub on Tuesday.
So far, 1469 returnees have arrived from the state of Tamil Nadu; Assam - 779; Haryana - 378; Meghalaya - 372; West Bengal - 251; Manipur - 175; Arunachal Pradesh - 162; Bihar - 126; Delhi-108; Sikkim - 41; Maharashtra - 36; Uttar Pradesh - 31; Mizoram - 18; Gujarat - 16; Madhya Pradesh - 12; Rajasthan - 5 and Tripura - 3.
