Dimapur, July 19 (EMN): A total of 38 graduates from Don Bosco Tech AIDA Centre, who underwent skills training for unemployed youth, have received placement offer from various companies/ firms.
Don Bosco Tech AIDA Centre announced this at the 29 batch graduation day held on July 6. The training began on April 23 and completed on July 6.
Aokumzuk, general manager of Europa Inn Hotel, Dimapur, was the special guest of the graduation day programme. He congratulated the trainees for successfully completing the training. In his speech, he exhorted the graduating trainees to “prepare mentally as they are going to face many tough challenges.
He has termed them “fortunate” to avail required training from Don Bosco Tech AIDA and thereby get a good job placement. He further added that Don Bosco Tech AIDA is helping the government to stabilise the unemployment problem.
Fr. Stephen, Principal of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, congratulated the trainees and appreciated the parents for sending their children for the skill training. As the trainees step out to the real work, he encouraged them to make a good name for themselves, family and the institute.
The candidates were from economically weaker section with minimum education qualification. The 75 days of intense training has prepared them to work in corporate environment. Naongmonyu welcomed the gathering and N Yingnu Konyak and friends presented a folk song on the occasion.
Puja, Tekhewelou, Solomon, Ngursailoua and Hailungwangbe shared their experiences and learnings from the 75-day of training.
Don Bosco Tech AIDA Centre further informed that the 30 batch training would start on July 22.
