37th National Games: Manipur clinch 9 gold in wushu, cycling
Manipur cyclists after winning gold in the 750m team sprint on Saturday.

IMPHAL — Manipur on Saturday added as many as nine gold, six silver and another six bronze medals from wushu, cycling, archery disciplines at the ongoing 37th National Games hosted by Goa.

With this, Manipur have so far won 25 gold, 17 silver and 22 bronze medals and stand 5th in the medal tally, as per hand information received from Goa.

The wushu players who won gold medals are Y Geeta Devi (Taijijian), Bonish Yurembam (Nungun), N Roshibina (56kg), A James (56kg), Th Meneka (70kg) and O Bidyapati Chanu (56kg).

Manipur men’s cyclists K Rahul, K Jemsh and Y Rojit bagged gold in 750m team sprint.
