Dimapur, May 1 (EMN): A total of 37 students including 23 in Master of Divinity (both residential and distance learning, 13 in Bachelors of Theology and one Bachelor of Christian Ministry from Eastern Bible College (EBC) were commended in the service to spread the Gospel.
The students were conferred degrees during the 47th graduation ceremony held at the Buntain Chapel of the college, Bank Colony, on April 24, an update from the college stated.
Speaking at the graduation programme, Rev. Dr. R Meren Jamir, executive secretary of Nagamese Baptist Churches Association, has expounded on three pertinent keys in serving God. The three keys according to Jamir are vision, love and evangelism.
The welcome address was delivered by the college’s principal, Rev. Dr. TN Lotha Jr, while the invocation prayer was said by Rev. Pikhato Kath.
M. Div student Tunato Y Swu was conferred the graduate of the year award, while the academics excellence awards were conferred to M. Div student Zuchanbeni Tungoe and B.Th student Dari Tudo. The social life awards were awarded to Thang Suum Lian and Apinuo Pienyu from M.Div class and Konzan Humtsoe and Khriesakuonuo Theunuo from the B.Th class.
The Christian ministry awards were awarded to Atoulie Sopfunuo, Khovelu and Allen from the M.Div class and Konzan Humtsoe from the B.Th class.
