365 new Covid-19 cases, 12 deaths reported in Nagaland

Dimapur, May 18 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 365 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, taking the state’s active caseload to 4407 and tally to 18,714.

The minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, updated that out of the new cases, 195 were in Dimapur, Kohima-108, Zunheboto-13, Phek-12, Longleng-11, Mokokchung-10, Peren-8, Mon-4, Kiphire-2, and one each in Tuensang and Wokha.

He added that 192 patients -- Dimapur-99, Kohima-78, Mon- 7, Peren-4, Longleng-3, Kiphire-1 – recovered during the same period.

The state has registered 13491 recoveries till date and 12 new deaths on Tuesday has pushed the death toll to 217, out of which 11 have ruled “not-Covid-related”.
