Mokokchung, April 29 (EMN): A total of 33 students from Nagaland Bible College (NBC) have graduated during a programme held at its Discovery Hall in Artang ward, Kohima, on Thursday.
The graduates included 39th and 40th batch. They were conferred with degrees in Master of Divinity, Master of Ministry, M.Div (distance learning), Bachelor of Theology and Bachelor of Ministry.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Imcha Jamir, shared that the graduates had now begun a new chapter in their lives, to present themselves as the liberator of God on everything they do and every kind of ministry they are engaged in.
However, Jamir reminded the graduates that before they present themselves to the world, they must first experience for themselves that ‘God is there and His omnipresence is everywhere’.
Sharing that the future ahead of them was full of challenges and suffering, he advised them to endure the challenges and suffering and respond positively as they process their experiences because whatever they present first comes from their self-experience.
Citing the story of Joseph from the Bible, he advised them to have unshakable faith in God, be submissive to God and the people around them, and to be humble as they go through the difficult challenges and sufferings in their endeavour.
“As you join various ministries always remind yourself that you are still learning and try to learn from your experience, your experience is going to talk and will enable you to become a man of noble purpose. Through your experience, prove yourself as a man approved by God who is not ashamed to speak out the word of truth,” he urged the graduates.
Minister Temjen Imna Along, who was to grace the occasion could not attend due to unavoidable circumstances. However, his message to the graduate was read at the event.
