The 33 Assam Rifles has conducted a free dental camp in Naginimora under Mon district on February 8. The program was conducted under a civic responsibility program called ‘Operation Sadbhavna’ a military civic program for citizens. Naginimora is a sub division of Mon district and is generally deprived of basic facilities, especially dental care, the Assam Rifles stated in a note. Sensing the need for dental care, the security force conducted a dental camp for the people of Naginimora and added that ‘the response of the locals was forthcoming and they welcomed such a noble gesture from the Assam Rifles who are the true friends of the hill people. During the camp 207 people were also benefited to include gents, ladies and children of the area. Free medicines were also distributed and treatment given for diseases,” the Assam Rifles stated.
