Three athletes from Sports Academy, Dimapur and Government Higher Secondary School, Dimapur have been selected to represent East India Zone in the 25th National Inter-Zonal Athletics Championship to be held at Kochi, Kerela from September 22 to 24. The selected athletes are Shoniu S in 5000m, Aungkali in high jump and Veluno Shijoh in discus throw.
