Personnel of North Police Station Kohima nabbed the three accused reportedly involved in the alleged assault on Pelo Letro of Mesulumi village and Neizeko Mekrisuh of Chizami village near Avilie Petrol Pump Kohima on August 14.
Police sources today said on receiving information about the assault and kidnap of one person from Avilie Petrol Pump around 8 pm on August 14, all the police personnel on duty were activated and later around 10.45 pm, the three accused allegedly involved in the case were nabbed from Tinpatti area.The accused have been identified as Neingumelie Dzuvichu (30), son of late Rulhoulie Dzuvichu of L. Khel Kohima village, Ruokuovituo Sote (25), son of Methasenyu Sote of P. Khel Kohima Village and Mhalelhoulie Mepfhüo (40), son of ate Razouvotuo Mepfhüo of L. Khel Kohima Village.
They were nabbed along with the Bolero (NL01H 0036) which was used for the commission of the crime, police said.
The victim Pelo Letro was also rescued and is presently under medication, police said. A case been registered in this connection and investigation is on.
