KOHIMA — A three-day training programme on the implementation of faecal sludge management commenced on Wednesday at the PHED conference hall, Kohima.
The programme is being held under the aegis of Primove, Pune, for state and district officials of the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED).
During the inaugural, an overview of the training was presented by Laxmikant Shinde, portfolio manager at Primove, while Ichirang Zeliang, executive engineer, sanitation and WSSO, PHED, delivered the keynote address.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]Thenusou Sekhose, state HRD consultant, sanitation and WSSO, chaired the programme,and the vote of thanks was proposed by Wonjanbeni Odyuo, executive engineer, PHED.
The intensive training will conclude on August 18.
