DIMAPUR — A three-day skills training programme, which was underway at Longkhim town, concluded on Friday with a closing ceremony cum certificate award programme. The training had commenced on August 9.
ADC Longkhim, Anoka H Achumi, who delivered the keynote address on the occasion, urged the trainees present to make the most of what they learned during their training and bring positive changes to the district and sub-division in particular.
He emphasised the importance of learning new skills and vocational skill training in order to arm oneself with cutting-edge knowledge to survive in this competitive world. Later, he also awarded certificates to the trainees.
Kezhangulie Kire, president of Glocal Concepts, expressed his appreciation on the occasion to the Tuensang district administration team led by the deputy commissioner for their cooperation and necessary arrangements for the success of the skills training programme.
He also thanked the chairman of NKVIB, Dr. Neiphrezo Keditsu, for his vision for Nagaland’s youth and for ensuring that such life skills training was conducted which was availed by people from all over the state. According to a press release, resource persons from the Nagaland Beekeeping and Honey Mission also played an important role in the training.
