Dimapur, Feb. 9 (EMN): District Election Officer Mon has informed all polling personnel that the 2nd round of training has been scheduled on Feb. 13 and 14th at Government Higher Secondary School, Mon.
Training for presiding officers and 1st polling officers will be conducted on Feb. 13 from 10 am while 2nd and 3rd polling officers on Feb. 14 between 10 am and 1 pm and 4th polling officers on Feb. 14 between 1:30 to 4:30 pm.
The third round training has been scheduled on Feb. 22 for presiding and 1st polling officers and Feb. 23 for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th polling officers. The time and venue remains the same. DEO has cautioned that stern action will be taken against absentees under relevant sections of elections laws.
Also, those polling personnel who have not submitted two recent passport size photos are asked to do the same during the training.
