Oztronic, established in 2015, kicked off with its first ever show in the early part of 2015 at Kohima, drawing a young crowd, hungry for Electronic Dance Music(EDM). What started off as an underground event soon grew into a must see EDM concert, the first of its kind in Nagaland! Over the past year, it has held 7 major events featuring regional, national and international talent. An independent musical venture, solely focused on electronic music, a seasonal event soon blossomed into a full fledged music festival. After 6 successful shows, Oztronic converted to a music festival, the first ever festival being held on 22 & 23 July, 2016. Bigger, better and more lively with a better aim, on the theme “Go Green”. The aim was to spread awareness on Recycling and Reuse, with over hundreds of fans and supporters contributing waste materials like plastic bottles, old newspapers and CDs which were used for the venue arrangements and performance platform. The Oztronic Music Festival saw a rise in audience count, attracting a decent score of the mass public, somewhere along the lines of around 3000+ people. The constant growing popularity and the probable success of the event is noticeable, owing to the very expanding fan base.
