2nd edition of ‘August Rush’ on Aug 15

Richa Productions is all set to present the second edition of ‘August Rush’, an open exhibition of art, craft, books, foods and photography on August 15, at The Heritage, Old DC Bungalow, Kohima, this was announced at the press conference at Dream Cafe Kohima on Thursday.
With the view to support and promote our art based cultures which includes traditional handicraft materials, homemade Naga cuisines, Naga musicians, the film industry of our land, photography and painting exhibition, we are s the second edition of August Rush says one of the members of Richa Productions.
Last year, the event brought numbers of musicians, artists, entertainers and fashion designers together in one place that witnessed a good turnout of around 300 people and this year the organising team are expecting more.
The musical ensemble by Musicians Studio Kohima will begin from 12 noon inside the curtains of the Orchestra venue. Followed by Music Video release of four musicians managed by the Production- Gigi Ale, Kekhrie Ringa, Tutu Terhuja and NTdote. The releases of these videos will be their first original debut.
The event will have a short time for Naga Blog members to host their Clean Election Cell campaign.
The organisers also informed that the event will be followed by the premier of the movie (with subtitle) “Nana – A tale of us” by Dreamz Unlimited.
Special guests for the programme includes Rebecca Changkija, a well known Bollywood movie director based in Mumbai and the team of Dreamz Unlimited. The Musical Ensemble and the Music video premier will be hosted by Mengu Suokhrie.
The official photographer is Hopong Chang.
A total of 30 stalls are already registered for the event, the organisers also informed that there are more slots available in the venue.
The event is headed by Setolü Veswuh, with Alebou as the event manager, Dr. Teputo Richa as managing director, Medo Kense and Vil Victor as event co-ordinator.
The event will open its gates from 10 am onwards with an entry fee of Rs 50.
