273 new Covid-19 cases, 7 deaths reported in Nagaland; tally rises to 18349

Dimapur, May 17 (EMN):
Nagaland reported 273 new Covid-19 cases and 104 recoveries on Monday, pushing the state’s active cases to 4253 and tally to 18349.

The minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, informed that out of the 273 new cases, 119 were in Kohima, 61 in Mon, 58 in Dimapur, 10 in Tuensang, six in Wokha, five each in Mokokchung, Kiphire and Zunheboto, and four in Peren.

He added that 70 recoveries were reported in Dimapur, Kohima-25, Peren-5, Mokokchung-3, and Mon-1 in the last 24 hours.

The state has registered 13299 recoveries till date while death toll has increased to 205 (out of which 11 have been ruled ‘not Covid-related’) with seven more deaths reported on Monday.
