MMA athletes representing The Combat Academy, Nagaland, after their respective wins at the 26th edition of Club Wars in Guwahati on Wednesday.

DIMAPUR — The 26th edition of Club Wars, organised by Bidang MMA and Fitness Gym, took place at The Royal Global University in Guwahati on Wednesday.

According to a press release, the mixed martial arts event aimed at promoting amateur MMA athletes, providing them with a platform to showcase their skills. Participants from across the north-east, including Assam, Meghalaya, Tezpur, Manipur, Nagaland, and one from Jharkhand, took part in the event.

Vivoto Tsukru and Wungvamsem Raman, representing The Combat Academy, Nagaland, made their amateur MMA debuts at the event. Both emerged victorious in their bouts, with Tsukru winning via technical knockout and Raman via knockout.
