Dimapur, July 4 (EMN): Managing Director of Alaphra group, Ricky Ozukum, encouraged individuals to focus on being entrepreneurs, and emphasised on the importance of acquiring different set of skills to be self-reliant.

He was speaking at the closing programme for the Skill2Sustain Project organised on June 30 at Tourist Lodge, Dimapur.

He also shared about how to change the attitude towards a particular job whether it is big or small. To be a successful person, he asked to be self-driven, self-motivated, to be updated, and set goals for a sense of direction.   

Jenpu Rongmei, Founder and Chief Functionary, CAN Youth in his exhortation, emphasised on how one should work together to create a brighter future. He also shared how the soft skill training will develop an understanding of who one is, and also build overall competency. He also mentioned the demand of young people in the private sector provided one has the skills of working professionally.

Altogether 250 youths completed training in the first batch.

The programme was chaired by Nuyelu Nyekha Project Lead, Skill and Livelihood, CAN Youth.

Meanwhile, Zhove Lohe, Board Member, CAN Youth invoked God’s blessings.

The programme ended with a vote of thanks by Sentimongla Ozukum, Project Assistant, Leadership program, CAN Youth.
