25 Nagaland entrepreneurs participate at IITF 2023

DIMAPUR — Wennyei Konyak, joint resident commissioner (JRC) Nagaland House, New Delhi, inaugurated the Nagaland State Pavilion (hall number 3) on Tuesday during the ongoing 42nd India International Trade Fair (IITF) at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

The IITF 2023, which began on November 14 and will conclude on November 27, is themed ‘Vasudhaiva kutumbakam—united by trade’. This year, 13 countries are participating in the events, with nearly 3,500 exhibitors showcasing products.

According to a press release, 25 entrepreneurs from Nagaland are participating in the fair and showcasing the best products from Nagaland, including handloom products, handicrafts, banana baskets, varieties of local soaps, and others.

Bihar and Kerala are partner states for the events, while Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh are focus states.

Among those in attendance at the inauguration were Kikhumthong, Nagaland State Pavilion director; Areninla, assistant pavilion director; Kuolie Mere, deputy director and senior PRO (IPR) of Nagaland House; and Thomas Thailu, OSD Planning, Nagaland House.
