DIMAPUR — The 20th Dzülekemia Teisozha (Dzüleke Village Day) was observed at the Dzüleke Village Council Hall in Kohima on Sunday with L Kenneth Punyü, associate professor at Science College Jotsoma, as the resource speaker.
Speaking on the occasion, Punyü dwelt on ‘sustainable development’ and exhorted the gathering to uphold their values of ‘trust’ and ‘unity’ for further development of the village, stated an update.
Although a small village, he spoke about the potential that Dzüleke has in respect of tourism, farming, and other areas, and also urged the dwellers to take advantage of what it lacks, such as mobile and internet connectivity.
He stated that once the village has access to better connectivity, they would be able to do everything even while sitting in the village.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Vitsiepielie Sophi. A moment of silence was observed for the departed souls of Dzüleke.
