1st Team RD Sprint and Autocross held in Niuland

DIMAPUR — The 1st Team RD Sprint and Autocross event was held at Vihokhu village in Niuland district from February 23 to 24.

According to an update, the total prize money for the event was INR 3,20,000 and a total of 45 participants took part across different categories – Open, Below 1300cc, SUV, and Rookie.

The winners in different categories were:

Open category:

• Winner – Kamlesh Das (Team MSAM Meghalaya) – INR 60,000
• 1st Runner Up – Alem I Jamir (Team AMAM Nagaland) – INR 40,000
• 2nd Runner Up – Chumdemo Shitio (Team Spearhead Nagaland) – INR 20,000

Below 1300cc:

• Winner – David Rhakho (Team RD Nagaland) – INR 40,000
• 1st Runner Up – Chumdemo Shitio (Team Spearhead Nagaland) – INR 30,000
• 2nd Runner Up – Jaki Trang (Team RBMSC Meghalaya) – INR 20,000

SUV Category:

• Winner – Andy Mawrie (Meghalaya) – INR 30,000
• 1st Runner Up – Ana Solo (Team KAMC Nagaland)- INR 20,000
• 2nd Runner Up – Among Jamir (Team Spearhead Nagaland) – INR 15,000

Rookie category:

• Winner – Banisham Sohtun (Meghalaya) – INR 20,000
• 1st Runner Up – Akolie (Nagaland) – INR 15,000
• 2nd Runner Up – Maputoshi (Team Spearhead Nagaland) – INR 10,000

The Most Promising Driver award in memory of Lt. Neiphre-O Dzuvichu was given to Bijo Awomi. The Fastest Time award in memory of Lt. Wati Ao was awarded to Kamlesh Das.
