1st Open Women Football League Tournament from June 26 to July 1 at the Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima — Department of Youth Resources and Sports (YRS)
KOHIMA — The Department of Youth Resources and Sports (YRS) is organising the 1st Open Women Football League Tournament from June 26 to July 1 at the Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
There will be a maximum of 16 teams and registration will be done on a first-come-first basis. The department informed that players must be bonafide inhabitants of Nagaland.
A team should not exceed 18 players and two supporting staff of which one should be a female. Match allowances will be disbursed at the rate of INR 250 per participant.
Cash awards include INR 1 Lakh with certificates and trophy (winner), INR 70,000 with certificates and trophy (runner-up) and INR 30,000 each with certificates (semi-finalists).
Apart from team awards, exceptional players will be awarded individual awards and certificates in categories such as player of the tournament, highest scorer, best goalkeeper and most promising player.

Teams will have to make their own logistic arrangements and no TA/DA will be paid except for the match allowances.
Interested teams/clubs may download the forms and bye-laws by visiting the YRS department’s website, dyrs.nagaland.gov.in, and submit it on or before June 20 at the directorate office (Sports section) during office hours.
