1st Kohima District futsal Championship to be held on Sept. 2 and 3

Dimapur, July 21 (EMN): The Kohima District Football Association (KDFA) will be organising the first ever Kohima District Futsal Championship on September 2 and 3 at L Viluo FIFA Pro Astro turf at Meriema.

KDFA in a press release informed that the championship will be conducted in 5 a-side format. Only registered players with KDFA will be permitted to play in the championship.

Winning team of the championship will further represent the district during the second edition of the Nagaland Football Association (NFA) Futsal Tournament.

The top two teams will be awarded with cash rewards, trophies and citations.

There will also be rewards for ‘man of the match’ in every match of the championship. Entry fee is set at Rs 2,500 per team, it stated.
