1st Inter Departmental Football Tournament at Changtongya

The 1st Inter Departmental Football Tournament at Changtongya Sub-Division concluded on August 15 with ‘The Join Team’ as the winner and ‘The SDEO Team’ as the runners up.
I.Yashimeren Ao, veteran and a former state football player was the match patron of the closing final match. He donated the Tournament Trophy Cup, Best player, highest scorer and Best goal keeper Trophies. Ao also encouraged the players to keep the spirit of sportsmanship. The closing programme was led by Imkongchuba with T.Yanger, Pastor CTBA invoking God’s presence. Special song was presented by Imlisenla and vote of thanks was delivered by NchumthungKikon, Organizing Committee.
The champion trophy was handed over by SDO(c) Changtongya, ChumlamoHumtsoe and convener of the 1st Inter Departmental Football Tournament to the Join Team with NchumthungKikon as the best player (Join Team) , LanuyangerLongkumer as best-goal keeper (SDEO team) , highest scorer ShilujungbaLkr (Power team) and police team as the best discipline team of the tournament.
