DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 5: The first ever one-day All Nagaland Fitness and Strength War organised by Universal Gym Dimapur was held on Friday November 4 with 13 contestants from Kohima and Dimapur at the Sakus Mission (SM) College Campus Dimapur.
The first of its kind in the state, the fitness and strength war was a tactical strength challenge competition where different types of strength and endurance as demanded by life’s challenge was tested and competed amongst the contestants.
The contestants were judged on the time frame by executing their strength and timing through Bench Press-70 kg with 20 reps, Dead lift-80 kg with 20 reps, Burpees-10 reps, Pull ups-10 reps and Squat- 80 kg with 20 reps.
Vizobilie Hollotoli from Body Power Gym who is also the sports instructor of Hollotoli School was declared the winner with time of 2: 17 while Pulato from Universal Gym (3:18) and Moakumzuk from Fitness First gym (4: 20) finished second and third respectively.
