MH10 Kohima, Evergreen, Spadroon and Changki advanced to the semifinals of the 18th Imchaba Master Memorial Volleyball Trophy in Mokokchung.

MOKOKCHUNG — MH10 Kohima, Evergreen Club Ungma, Spadroon Club Chungtia, and United Changki advanced to the semifinals of the 18th Imchaba Master Memorial Nagaland Open Volleyball Trophy after defeating their respective quarterfinal opponents at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex, Mokokchung, on Thursday.
MH-10 Kohima vs Yajang ‘C’: Yajang ‘C’, entering the knockout stages after a pool withdrawal, faced the defending champions MH-10 Kohima.
The champions dominated from the beginning, winning the first set 25–5 — the quickest and most one-sided set of the tournament. Maintaining full control throughout, MH-10 Kohima closed the match in straight sets, 25–15 and 25–11. With this win, MH-10 Kohima advanced to the semifinals.
Evergreen Club Ungma vs Longsa Sporting Club Mokokchung:
Evergreen Club Ungma defeated Longsa Sporting Club Mokokchung in straight sets in a competitive match. Evergreen’s defence, led by Tongpang and Bendang, contained Longsa’s attacks effectively. Longsa’s Temjen attempted to disrupt the defence, but Ungma maintained the upper hand.

Wonglom and Mesu coordinated Ungma’s offence with accurate spikes and cross-court strikes, while Lima contributed with deceptive plays. Evergreen Club Ungma sealed the match 25–16, 25–16, 25–12, earning a place in the semifinals.
Fly High Tuensang vs Spadroon Club Chungtia:
Spadroon Club Chungtia defeated Fly High Tuensang in a five-set match to reach the semifinals. Fly High Tuensang took the first set 25–18 through strong performances from Chiba and Libero Koramoa. Spadroon Club responded by taking the second set 25–15.
Tuensang regained the lead with a 25–15 win in the third set before Spadroon Club recovered to take the fourth set 25–17. In the deciding set, Spadroon Club Chungtia maintained composure and won 15–6, completing the victory.
United Changki vs Chienino Brothers Kiruphema ‘B’
United Changki defeated Chienino Brothers Kiruphema ‘B’ in straight sets. United took the first set 25–20 with strong defensive play from Libero Sademeren and effective attacks from Imtiyatet and Takoyapang.
The second set was closely contested, but United Changki prevailed 25–21. In the final set, United maintained control and concluded the match 25–16. The win secured their place in the semifinals.
