17th ANPSA sports meet culminates

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 31

The two days sports meet of All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA) has been flagged off today with Administrator of Living Stone Higher Secondary School, Arthur Edward as the guest of honor.
Altogether 17 schools participated at the 17th annual sports meet of ANPSA Dimapur.
Arthur Edward during the closing function advised the students that in life is filled with ‘ups and downs’ and that winning a cup is not always as important as taking part in the competition. He said one should always strive towards success by never giving up while expressing that ‘success’ comes only with a good positive and responsible attitude in life and towards ones fellowmen. He also advised the students to cultivate a positive attitude in all walks of live inorder to acquire the important virtues of a happy, successful and good quality life.
The best disciplined school among all the participating schools was awarded to Lorna’s School.
The best March Past was awarded to Lorna’s School and the 2nd position was given away to Living Stone Higher Secondary School while the 3rd position was shared by Pilgrim School and Greenwood Higher Secondary School.
Best athletes in category A under Boys’ group was awarded to Kuthozo Vero from Eden School Thilixu and in Girls group to Suneptul from St. Stephen Higher Secondary School. And for Category B Katovi Zhimomi and Irene Yanthan both from Greenwood Higher Secondary School were declared as best athletes.
The overall champion school in Category A was awarded to St. Stephen Higher Secondary School while the 2nd and 3rd position was acquired by Eden School and Little Daffodil School respectively. And in Category the overall champion school was awarded to Greenwood Higher Secondary School while the 2nd and 3rd position was given to St. Stephen Higher Secondary School and Don Bosco Higher Secondary School.
The 17th ANPSA was hosted by Greenwood Higher Secondary School.
