Dimapur, Dec. 20 (EMN): In yet another haul, Kohima police on Thursday morning recovered 160 kg of ganja from a vehicle at Peducha check gate.
In a statement, police informed that the consignment was found wrapped in black and white plastic covers in an unregistered Gypsy. The occupants of the vehicle—Vini Poumai (23 yrs), and Masuni (38 yrs) both from Lai village in Senapati district of Manipur—were arrested.
“In this connection, a case has been registered under Sechu Zubza PS vide Kohima Sechu Zubza PS Case No. 23/18 U/S 20(b), ii (c) NDPS Act,” it informed.
