15 candidates selected for Mr, Miss, Mrs Northeast India 2021

Dimapur, Oct. 16 (EMN): The Nagaland Mega Entertainment (NME) in collaboration with Spark The Ultimate Fire organised the final audition for Mr, Miss and Mrs Northeast India 2021, on October 14 at Ciekhan Fitness in Kohima.

All together, 30 participants turned up for the Kohima and Dimapur auditions.

The organisers selected 15 candidates to represent the state and compete for Mr and Miss category in the beauty pageant which is scheduled for October 31 at Ita Machkhowa in Assam.

Owing to the absence of married women during the audition, it was learnt that the organisers could not conduct the tryout for the Mrs division.

Samuel Achy Phom, president of NME and its advisor, Kekhriezhahzo Solo informed that a cash prize of INR one lakh including gift hampers have been set aside for the winners of Mr Miss and Mrs Northeast India.

It was informed that the winners of the beauty contest will also represent the country during the International Beauty Pageant in Korea, Japan and Phillipines.
