14 tribes of Nagaland urge Naga political groups not to resort to threats
Dimapur, Nov. 16 (EMN): The 14 tribes of Nagaland have stated that political groups should not resort to threats, intimidation or aggressive tone which vitiates the peaceful atmosphere.
In a press release issued on Monday, the ‘press and media cell of 14 tribes’ maintained that should any Naga political group resort to violence and bloodshed, it would be considered as opposing people’s will and be treated as ‘anti Naga’.
“…14 tribes shall jointly condemn and also initiate severe actions against such individual or groups. Therefore, the 14 tribes with great urgency, resolved to urge GoI and Naga negotiating groups to come together and sign the agreement without further delay,” it stated.
