133 new Covid-19 cases, 10 deaths in Nagaland; tally increased to 16283

Dimapur, May 10 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 10 deaths and 133 new Covid-19 positive cases on Monday, taking the state’s tally to 16283.
The minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, updated that out of the 133 new cases detected in the last 24 hours, 88 were in Dimapur, 13 in Kohima, nine in Kiphire, seven in Zunheboto, five in Mokokchung, four in Peren, three each in Mon and Tuensang, and one in Wokha.
He added that 47 positive patients — 38 in Dimapur, three each in Mokokchung and Wokha, two in Tuensang and one in Peren — recovered during the same period.
According to the Health and Family Welfare Department updates the state currently has 2884 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 2586 are asymptomatic, 153 mild, 52 moderate on oxygen, 78 severe on oxygen, four in ICU without ventilator and 11 in ICU on ventilator.
The state has also registered 12734 recoveries and 140 deaths, out of which 10 have been ruled “not Covid-related”.
In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur has 1,880, 775 in Kohima, 51 in Mokokchung, 71 in Mon, 35 in Tuensang, 19 in Longleng, 16 in Zunheboto, 13 each in Peren and Kiphire, 10 in Phek and one in Wokha.
