128 new Covid-19 cases detected in Nagaland; tally stands at 9455

Dimapur, Nov. 7 (EMN): Nagaland’s Covid-19 tally has reached 9455 with 128 new cases detected on Saturday.

This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘128 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Saturday); Dimapur-61, Mon-54, Kohima-11 and Peren-2.  Also, 54 positive patients have recovered; Dimapur-40, Kohima-13 and Zunhebotot-1,’ tweeted the minister.

According to information provided by the Health department on Saturday, Nagaland currently has 1071 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1012 are asymptomatic, 34 mild, 11 moderate on oxygen, eight severe on oxygen and six critical in ICU.

The state has also recorded 8249 recoveries so far and 45 deaths, out which six are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 683 cases, followed by Kohima-241, Mon-104, Mokokchung-16, Tuensang-13, Peren-6, Kiphire-4, Zunheboto-2, and one each in Wokha and Phek, while Longleng  has zero cases so far.
