12 make it to fourth round of Kids for Fame Season-4

12 contestants have made it through to the fourth round of Kids for Fame Season-4 after the third elimination round held at IMC Hall, Dimapur on Saturday night. The remaining contestants will compete in the next elimination round on October 5 evening. In tonight’s elimination, six contestants were eliminated out of 18 contestants based on public voting and points from the judges. The eliminated contestants include three males and three females.
The contestants still in the hunt are Sharon Kiba, Shanchothung Odyuo, Manini Moro, Nisheli Yepthomi, Sevi Khruomo, Sanjana Rai, Nungtilong Longkumer, Akhrole Keyho, Mhabeni Shitiri, Hanshila Yimchunger, Alovika K Assumi and Binthu Newmai.
Till the third elimination round, it was 11 year-old Akhrole Keyho who had received the highest voting. Combining the public votes and points from the judges, she now has a total of 23,900 points.
This little girl from Toulazouma village, who has been a consistent performer for this season so far, once again mesmerized the IMC audience tonight receiving the loudest cheers after belting out Celine Dion’s popular number ‘To love you more’.
The judges for this season are Moanungsang, 1st Naga Orpheus, Akhrieno Zao, music teacher at School of Music and Art, Dimapur and Kashito Kiba, Managing Director, Pheto Music Association.
The hosts for tonight’s show were Vibeizonuo and Gifty Shitiri.
Earlier, the show was graced by Parliamentary Secretary of Power, Kipili Sangtam as the special guest.
In his brief address, the Parliamentary Secretary urged the contestants to wholeheartedly partake in the competition.
Though stating that the Nagas are ‘very’ gifted in music and sports, he, however, maintained that the lack of professional approach to mould our talents and potentials has been one of the reasons why we (Nagas) fail to achieve higher. He, therefore, advised the younger generation to involve professionally in anything they venture out.
The public voting outlets in Dimapur are School of Music & Art, Purana Bazar and Popular Bakery. For Kohima, it will be available at Lineage Enterprise, Opp NST Bus Station. While for Wokha, it will be available at Highway Entertainment and Lifeline Medicos and for Mokokchung at Cosmos Hall Entertainment.
Kids for Fame is a singing contest organized by Pheto Music Association for the age group between 10-15 years.
