Dimapur, August 10: The East Dimapur Sumi Student’s Union (EDDSU) has alleged that 4 Land Records & Survey Officers (LRSO) and 8 survey grade-I were appointed under Land Records & Survey Department through backdoor/unfair means, and demanded the department to terminate all and requisition to NPSC within a month, failing which the union will take its own course of action. The EDDSU also appealed to ACAUT Nagaland to support its cause for justice.
“As per RTI replies the appointees of 4 LRSO and 8 survey grade-I under land records and survey department were appointed through backdoor/unfair means depriving thousands of unemployed youths of Nagaland,’ stated a press note issued by EDSSU president Kanato S. Awomi and general secretary Tovi Achumi.
