Officials from 111 battalion BSF and healthcare workers during a free health camp in Satakha on February 18.

Dimapur, Feb. 19 (EMN): The 111 battalion of Border Security Force (BSF) located at Satakha town in Zunheboto organised a civic action programme-cum-free medical camp at community health centre in Satakha on February 18.

An update from the 111 battalion BSF stated that its medical officer along with the senior medical officer of CHC Satakha, Dr. M Keyho, and medical officer, Dr. Alvis Chikhe, attended to the patients and gave away medicines to the poor and needy villagers of Satakha. 

Besides, in its endeavours to augment the infrastructure as well as capacity enhancement of the community health centre in Satakha, the battalion distributed semi automatic bio-chemistry analyser, ECG 12 LED machine, BP instruments and semi fowler bed in accordance with the instructions issued by the government of India.

It further stated that the gesture of BSF was appreciated by the residents.
