Zunheboto DPDB cleans up winter agenda

The District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting for the month of December was held on December 8 in the district deputy commissioner’s conference hall in Zunheboto town. The meeting was presided over by the deputy commissioner of the district, and vice-chairman of the board, Temsu Longkumer.
The meeting discussed the upgrading Government Middle School of Aichisaghemi to Government High School and recommended the proposal for approval to the directorate of School Education.
With regard to shifting Sunrise School of Tokiye, under Aghunato subdivision, to Padumpukhuri in Dimapur, the board members, after thorough deliberations, recommended the matter to the directorate of School Education for consideration.
The meeting also approved new members of a verification committee for implementation of the Local Area Development Program under various constituencies.
Deputy Commissioner, Temsu Longkumer, who will retire voluntarily from December 2015, expressed profound gratitude to all the members of the board for their unflinching support and cooperation during his tenure as deputy commissioner and vice chairman of the DPDB.
Superintendent of Police, Khrodi Rhetso, on behalf of all members thanked the deputy commissioner for his guidance and for being a ‘good team leader, sociable, an able administrator and serving the people with dedication and honesty.’
