KOHIMA, APRIL 10
A three-day revival crusade commenced this evening at Naga Shisha Hoho Prayer Centre, Pruzie-Kohima, under the theme “Ask the Lord for rain in the time – (Zechariah 10.1).”
Speaking at the inaugural service, Rev Phomlee Van, pastor, Phom Baptist Church, Kohima, while preaching about God’s love and mercy upon humankind, called upon the congregation to rededicate themselves to serve God with all humbleness and faithfulness.
“How many of us have the burning desire to serve God. This will follow only when we revive ourselves and look to God with a new desire in our life,” Rev Phomlee said.The gospel service was chaired by Pastor Chekrosayi Phesao, while Visato Sumi read the Bible and invoked God’s blessing for the programme. A special number was presented by Midland Women Prayer Fellowship.
The other speakers for the crusade are Rev. Dr. Vevo Phesao, Chakhesang Baptist Church, Minister’s Hill, Kohima and Sentisashi, pastor, Ao Baptist Church, Kohima. The prayer warriors for the crusade are Hosanna Prayer Fellowship, while the praise & worship team is led by Call of God Ministry (Kiekelie Kro-u).
On Saturday and Sunday, the morning and evening service will be held at 10 am and 5 pm respectively, while the prayer service will begin from 6 am till 7 am on both the days.
All are invited to attend the revival crusade. Food will be provided, however, campers are requested to bring their own bedding.
The speaker for Saturday morning service is Rev. Dr. Vevo Phesao.
