Nicky lays Poufü foundation stone in Kohima

Nagaland Minister for Forest, Environment and Wildlife, Dr. Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire, on June 14 laid the foundation stone for Poufü, a new site for Poumai Community of Kohima at Lower Naga Bazaar, Kohima.
Speaking as the chief guest, Nicky informed that he desire to construct link roads in different colonies of Kohima town including Naga Bazaar colony for the welfare of the public before it was too late.
Appreciating the denizens of Naga bazaar for its all round improvement in the colony, he also encouraged them to maintain cleanliness and sanitation within the colony.
Kire encouraged the Naga bazaar residents and Poumai community (Poufü) to share mutual understanding and brotherhood as they would be staying together in the same colony. He reminded the gathering about the quotation “house is built by hand but home built by hearts” and urged them to make a happy place.
Words of blessing for good health and prosperity for inhabitants was rendered the land owner Pelevizo Solo. Short speeches were also delivered by C Daipao, Naga Hoho information and publicity secretary; Z Hriinyi, PPUK advisor; and Thezielhoulie Sorhie, chairman of Naga bazaar Panchayat.
Programme was led by SP Raili, PPUK speaker, bible reading and invocation prayer by Rev. Th. Thaongaolou, pastor PBCK, welcome was delivered by CD John, president Poumai Public Union( PPUK), folk song was presented by Poumai women organization Kohima, brief report and vote of thanks by PH Shesou, general secretary PPUK, while closing was proposed Bunii Dominic, Catechist PCMK.
